Concept, design and development of a virtual exhibition guide application on iPad for Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo.
About the client
The Espace Louis Vuitton is an art exhibition space by the world famous luxury brand. The gallery is located in Omotesando, the fashion and artistic center of the city. Designed by Jun Aoki, the Espace Louis Vuitton is a glass box situated on top of the Louis Vuitton building. It holds art exhibitions throughout the year, representing Louis Vuitton’s passion for creativity and connection to artists.
About the project
Louis Vuitton approached Cream to bring an insightful, technological and immersive experience in the form of a virtual guide to the visitors of their Omotesando flagship store’s art gallery, Espace Louis Vuitton. Eight iPads were made available for visitors to enjoy behind the scenes videos, artist interviews and artwork-specific information in either English or Japanese while browsing the gallery. The concept design has been made from scratch exclusively for our client, resulting in a user experience that mirrors the minimalistic feel of the Espace Louis Vuitton while providing maximum exposure and focus on the artwork hosted in the gallery.
